Getting Started

Welcome to Slops! This guide walks you through launching your first token and participating in trading.

1. Setting Up Your Wallet

To interact with the Slops protocol, you need an EVM-compatible Web3 wallet (such as MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or Rabby) configured for the Robinhood Chain.

  • Network Name: Robinhood Chain
  • Chain ID: 4663
  • Currency Symbol: ETH
  • Block Explorer: https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com/

2. Launching a Token

Deploying a custom token takes seconds and requires no coding:

  1. Navigate to Launch: Click the "+" button in the header navigation.
  2. Fill Out Metadata: Enter your token name, symbol, description, and social media handles (website, X, Telegram, Discord).
  3. Provide Assets: Upload a square avatar/logo image and a horizontal banner image.
  4. Connect Twitter/X (Optional): Linking your X handle appends a verification badge (BadgeCheck) to your creator profile and token cards.
  5. Optional Initial Buy: You can buy an initial amount of your token at the cheapest bonding curve price in the exact same deployment transaction.
  6. Deploy: Click "Create Token" and confirm the transaction in your wallet. The deployment cost is the 0.001 ETH protocol launch fee + gas.

3. Trading Tokens

Trading on Slops is instant and always available via the bonding curve:

Buying

  • Select any active token.
  • Input the amount of ETH you wish to spend.
  • The trade panel computes the tokens you will receive and applies a 1% trading fee.
  • Verify your slippage limit and submit the transaction.

Selling

  • Input the percentage (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) or exact amount of tokens you wish to sell.
  • If this is your first sell for this token, you must execute a quick Approve transaction to authorize the bonding curve to spend your tokens.
  • Submit the Sell transaction. The curve pays out the corresponding ETH value directly to your wallet minus the 1% trading fee.
